Experience: I am a Cambridge Natural Sciences graduate, currently training to work in mental health. I have worked as a private tutor for over a decade, primarily working with children from many of the top independent schools in London (Eton, St Paul`s`, North London Collegiate, Highgate, South Hampstead, City of London`, Haberdashers Aske‘s`, King Alfred’s, Francis Holland, and Marlborough to name a few) from age 8-17.

My main focus is in preparing students for the 11+ and 13+ entrance exams (including scholarship), for the Maths and Science GCSE/IGCSE exams, and Maths and Physics A level. I also offer general school and homework support.

In the past I have worked registered with some of the most prestigious tutoring agencies in London, where I was often a highly recommended tutor on the books, however these days I’m fortunate to be able to work for myself thanks to frequent recommendations from parents. When tutoring my aim is to create a warm, non-judgemental teaching environment, where there is an emphasis is on confidence building. Common feedback from students is how straightforward my explanations make maths and science appear, and that they the lessons are a safe and non judgemental space to bring their difficulties. I have had several students go on to pursue maths and science where they initially found these subjects too complicated and difficult.
