I am an experienced primary school teacher with over 16 years across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, specialising in early reading, phonics, maths, SATs preparation and supporting children with SEND. I currently teach Reception in a diverse school with many EAL learners, autistic children and children with additional needs, and I am passionate about helping every child feel confident, capable and proud of their progress.



I have worked as a Senior Teacher and KS1 and 2 Phase Leader, and I have led phonics (RWI and Little Wandle), early reading, assessment, and adaptive teaching across different schools.I have taught year 6 and have experience of preparing children for upper KS2 learning. I am calm, patient and highly skilled in breaking learning down into small, achievable steps. I use a mixture of modelling, guided practice and structured activities to support children who lack confidence or need a gentle, encouraging approach.



I tutor children from Nursery to Year 6 in phonics, early reading, writing, maths, SATs preparation and 11+. I am particularly strong with reluctant writers, children who struggle with phonics, autistic learners, and pupils who need personalised, engaging support.



My sessions are warm, positive and tailored to each child’s needs. I believe every child can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement, and I work closely with families to ensure learning at home and school feels consistent and manageable.

Availability: I am available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4:30 onwards. I also offer Saturday morning sessions.

I currently teach Reception in a diverse school with a wide range of learners. I have experience supporting high-achieving pupils, reluctant learners, EAL pupils and children who require more structured or visual teaching approaches. I have also worked with many autistic and SEND learners and am confident adapting lessons to meet individual needs while keeping expectations high.



My tutoring experience includes phonics, early reading, writing skills, maths fluency and preparation for SATs and 11+. I offer calm, consistent and encouraging sessions tailored to each child.
