I am a professional private tutor who specialises in the following subjects:
• Mathematics (Key stages, GCSE’s, A levels)

I have tutored and mentored for over 7 years, helping various students excel in their academics. From my experience in teaching over the years, I have developed a unique technique which has allowed me to change my communication stance that fits the student in the right way that allows them to understand the content as effectively as possible. I have also taught students examination techniques, providing them with a fully detailed approach of how exactly to tackle examination questions and what exactly examiners are looking for; a key essential that students lack. I am a very patient tutor who is always willing to ensure the student fully understands the content, no matter how often I have to go through the material. I emphasize the importance of correct working outs or detailed explanations and encourage students to take this on board.
Upon joining, an introductory assessment will be given to the student which they will complete in exam conditions. This will give an indication of what level they are currently performing. In addition, regular assessments will be provided at the end of each unit and progress will be monitored. Updated reports will also be provided to parents/guardians on a regular basis.
I also provide personal statement reviews and advice for those submitting their UCAS applications.
Background
I have studied Economics and Business from a top tier university, University College London (UCL) and have studied mathematics, economics, and biology at A levels where I achieved all A’s.
I am an enthusiastic, motivated individual who has a strong passion in making a successful change to students’ life by providing them with a solid base line for them to excel in their future career. I also tend to make the lesson as interactive as possible as I believe this is what drives students’ motivation to succeed, which also helps them in the learning process.
I provide online and face to face tutoring. Group lessons are also provided aswell as one to one session.
Please note: Cancellations of lessons must be made at least 24 hours in advanced. Cancelling within 24 hours will result in a cancellation fee which will be charged depending on the lesson type.

Quality of online sessions are extremely good and conducted very efficiently. Notes are easy to understand and explanations are well taught. Most importantly the content for A Levels is being covered systematically at a good pace.

Vishal has been tutoring me for a month or two, I needed a tutor because I was struggling in economics being predicted a D grade. However in the month or two I had Vishal I was able to greatly improve my essay writing skills. I learned correct structure, timing and contents needed to achieve full marks on questions. This improvement in essay writing, as well as many practise papers and questions has led me to hover around a B grade achieving my first A grade in practise questions by my teacher.
Would highly recommend if you are someone who needs help in economics and wants to quickly improve.
