Hi, I am a gap year student and I have recently completed my Alevels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I am looking for a part time tutoring job as I love teaching and I love working with kids. I am a professional and reliable person and like to see kids learn and excel in things which they thought they could not.

Availability: Available weekday evenings or weekends any time.

Experience: I have tutored two maths GCSE students who both made very notable progress which were recognised by myself, parents and teachers. During GCSEs I tutored a few of my friends who all got results within 7-9 of the grading system. Previously, their grades were 4-5. I enjoy teaching because I want others to succeed just as I did and prove that exams are not as hard as some may think as long as you put the effort in. I also tutored my younger sisters for their SATs and made them improve from average to top grades in a short space of time as I focus on problem areas and targets. I am capable of keeping an open communication between parents and I am a very friendly, approachable person who enjoys building positive rapport with customers (in this case students and parents).

Methodology:
I have a wide variety of teaching methods which I have picked up on as I was revising for my exams. I mostly explain the content in an engaging way and recap knowledge before moving on to the next chapter. I take into consideration the best learning style for each student and am able to adapt my lessons accordingly to ensure everyone receives efficient teaching. I also regularly recap random knowledge throughout the course to ensure the information is retained; this would most likely be through exam practice questions as higher grades are impossible to achieve without this. My methods worked for my friends and for my younger sisters and they have complimented me saying I have a natural gift for teaching.
