Information about Iona
I have a high 2:1 degree from Durham University (BA Theology & Religious Studies) graduating in 2015. I am a qualified teacher, having completed the TeachFirst programme and then taught Religious Studies in secondary schools in London for 3 years. I taught KS3 and KS4 and supported by students to engage with the subject matter and improve their essay writing skills. I had high expectations of all my students and found supporting and helping them to develop their confidence very rewarding.
I offer tuition for Primary English and KS3-4 English, History, Religious Studies and Philosophy. I can also offer advice and help with writing university applications and personal statements.
I can also tutor adults to improve their English and communication skills.
I also offer babysitting.
Availability: Weekday early evenings and weekend mornings. Happy to do in person or online sessions.
