Two brains are always better than one. And learning is always far more exciting together than alone! So how can I help you?

A good meal does two main things. It needs to fill you up so you are nourished and satisfied, but also needs to taste nice. A good tutorial should be like a meal. It should cover the material needed and give you the confidence that you know it, but also be done in an enjoyable way.

I love people and seeing them grow more confident in their ability. I am also really interested in learning and how it can be done most effectively, while also making it productive and enjoyable.

As well as tutoring, I enjoy keeping active, mountain biking, running, and hiking. I enjoy cooking and flying. I especially like meeting new people, both here in the UK and abroad. I also love problem-solving and learning new things. Problem solving and learning go hand in hand. Master one and you achieve the other!

My approach:
Everyone is unique and learns differently. What makes my tutoring method productive and enjoyable is my ability to adjust it to suit you.

Maths and Science are so much more exciting when they`re understood well, and a 1 to 1 tutorial with me can do just that. It`s also true that if you understand something well, then you can explain it well. I will get you to the stage that you feel confident explaining it yourself. This process will involve lots of practical examples, and most importantly of all, making it work for you.

I love making dull things exciting, so we can use loads of different ways to understand and remember things. The sessions will be fun, rewarding, and never dull.

Maths and Physics are also all about problem-solving. I`d love to help you improve your problem-solving ability, so next time something tricky comes up, you`re much better equipped to tackle it yourself.

Experience: I am experienced in working both 1 to 1, and in a classroom and group setting. I’ve done supply teaching and teaching assistant work in local schools. I worked for MyTutor, as a 5* rated premium tutor, teaching maths, physics, chemistry, and university personal statements in A-level, GCSE, and before. I now teach both in person and online.

I also have extensive experience working with young people, both in the UK and abroad. This includes a job as an activity and young people support leader, youth club leader, and a leader on multiple kids camps.
