I am a really positive, committed and passionate teacher with twenty-five years of teaching experience and four years of being a SENCO. Throughout my years of teaching, I have always maintained a strong commitment to my work, formed very good relationships with staff, parents, and pupils, looked at ways to improve my practice and provision and have really enjoyed being part of many young people`s lives and their families.

My qualifications are a BEd, Higher Diploma in Psychology of Special Needs, Reading Recovery Qualification and National SENCO Award.

When teaching or tutoring I always endeavor to make lessons meaningful, enjoyable, relevant and try to bring as much fun as much as possible to the sessions. I firmly believe that if children enjoy learning their understanding will be far greater and deeper experience.

Availability: Wednesdays and Fridays all day.

Experience: The experience I have is mostly gained from teaching classes, groups and individuals in schools however I believe that this is a transferable skill that I will be able to employ in my tutoring.

My tutoring experience extends from teaching children who are struggling to fully understand the school curriculum to support children to gain places at new schools through the 7+ exams. I have really enjoyed all of these sessions and have really seen terrific progress with the children I have worked with.
