I was educated at the best US schools, with an undergraduate degree from New York University (BA, Computer Science) and Master`s from Stanford University (MBA, Finance and Statistics). I`ve worked as a software engineer, a derivatives specialist and risk consultant at top banks. My STEM family credentials go back three generations – teaching maths, working in particle physics and mine engineering.

Experience: I got into tutoring by taking over my son`s 11+ maths (he is in Latymer grammar), then took on my friends` and colleagues` children for 11+ and GCSE lessons (for schools like City, South Hampstead and Latymer). Tutoring is a fulfilling way to transfer my experience and knowledge, to help students keep things precise and simple - maths is essential wherever they head to in their lives` journeys.
I strongly believe that maths is an easy subject to absorb (and apply) when properly taught and thoroughly practised. With every student, I work to develop a solid understanding of the subject matter and the mental stamina to process correctly a high number of simple quantitative questions. Such skills are required not only to achieve top exam results but also to excel in a company career or to run a business.
I also have the necessary patience to get past the moments when the attention span is short or the subject matter is difficult to understand right away.
