Hello my name is Alisha!

I study Psychology at degree level and I am on my year in the industry, gaining experience by shadowing and working with Clinical Psychologists. This is because I hope to pursue a career in Clinical Neuropsychology. My hobbies are baking and netball as I play as part of a society at the University of Kent.
I am a friendly and bubbly tutor who is always teaching students to work smarter and not harder! I like to make sure the student is learning in the way that suits them, such as watching videos, making comic strips, condensing material, mind-mapping and so much more. In the first session, i would like the student to hand me: The topics covered throughout the year, the grade they are currently at and the grade they would like. When conducting lessons, I like to make sure the tutoring lesson is the teaching lesson, this is so that it will cut down the workload of the student as going into their school lesson would be a form revision.
I am more than happy to travel within in Central Essex but I do prefer having lessons online as it avoids the issue of traffic, fuel cost etc. However, if the lesson is further out of the desired lesson, I will be conducting the lesson online.

My rate is not listed as I like to make sure parents and students can afford a reasonable price for tuition, so they are not missing out on education. Therefore, I am happy to negotiate prices! I hope my profile appeals to you and please do not hesitate to get in touch :)
