Information about Coco

DUE TO RECENT GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS I WILL BE TUTORING ONLINE ONLY. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GET IN TOUCH.

I have an overall strong academic background gaining 7A* and 4A at GCSE Level with a particular passion for the Arts and Humanities subjects.

From 2009-2012 I studied English Literature at Bristol University, graduating with 2:1 BA Hons.

This degree enabled me to pursue my interest in literary ideas and explore different forms of storytelling.

I have studied texts (poetry, plays and novels) demonstrating the development of English Literature from the Middle Ages to Contemporary Times and I have developed my interpretive and analytical skills. The essays written during my study allowed me to refine my skills in written communication enhancing the ability to articulate ideas and express arguments in a clear and logical manner.

In teaching, I am enthusiastic, confident, supportive, communicative and articulate and seek to make learning engaging and fun.

Coco is an amazing tutor. She has been tutoring my child for about 2 months now and I have been super mpressed by the progress my child has made so far. In a very short amount of time, she pinpointed exactly what areas my child needs most help with and has focused on that using a varietyof teaching methods and materials. As a result, my child`s confidence in the subject has grown immensely over the last couple of months. She is also very professional, flexible and super organised. Thank you Coco

My daughter struck an instant rapport with Coco. She has experience of tutoring children for the schools we are looking at for 11+ and gives my daughter confidence in maths and English with her approach in these subjects.

Coco is great! She is helping my daughter with English and Math and seems to know how to keep a 11-year-old focused after a long day at school. She structures the lessons really well, so that it is easy to follow the learning plan, and is very flexible with accommodating changes in schedule and subjects.
