Hello, everybody! My name is Sara, I am 25 years old and I graduated in Languages at the School of Interpreters and Translator of the University of Bologna, Italy, in October 2018. The languages I specialised in are English and French and I am Italian-English bilingual.

I am a huge fan of travelling, therefore I moved around a lot, even during my university years. Here’s a list of my recent ‘destinations’:

In summer 2016, I spent 3 months and a half in Nice, France, and worked as a waitress to improve my speaking skills. In summer 2017 I completed a 1-month internship in Valencia, Spain, as a teacher assistant teaching English to Spanish-speaking children and last summer, before moving back to the UK permanently, I worked as a tourist guide for Italian students in Kent. I also lived 5 months in Brussels for my Erasmus where I attended ISTI, Institut Supérieur d`Interprétation et Traduction.

Languages have always been part of my education/life as I went to a Languages High School in Italy, where I studied English, French and Spanish.

English was my great passion when I was a kid. I had an obsession for the Tudors and Elizabeth I, and I binge-watched every available TV series on the topic.

Experience: I have started tutoring French for beginners and intermediates on a tutoring platform last year as a side hustle. So far I have tutored about 5 people over the past few years. I am now trying to gain more experience in this field to make it more than just a side job! :)
