Information about Emma
I am a qualified teacher of DT and Media with 8 years experience working in schools across London. I enjoy working with young people and adults across a variety of subjects. I have experience working as a Teaching Assistant with a focus on Special Educational Needs so I am fully capable of tailoring learning to specific needs.
I have a keen interest in Graphic Design, so would love to work with any students who want to develop their skills in this area. I am also a photography enthusiast having run my own blog for the past two years.
Unfortunately, I am unable to tutor any students from Coombe Girls` School as this is my current place of work.
Availability: Weekday evenings between 5 and 8.
Saturday mornings between 9 and 12
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Currently teaching both DT and Media Studies at KS3, 4 and 5.
Experience working as teaching assistant supporting supporting KS3 and 4 students across the breadth of the curriculum, with a focus on English and Maths.
Experience as a private tutor for 2 years in English and Maths.
Experienced in a wide range of graphic design programmes including the Adobe Suite.
A keen photographer.

Emma is a lovely tutor. Professional, reliable and most important of all, very knowledgable and able to communicate this knowledge. My son really enjoys learning with her.
