An experienced tutor and primary school teacher, I have a wealth of experience in targeting children within year 5 and 6, preparing tutees for entrance exams (11+, Upton, St. Anselms) and SATs. An outstanding practitioner, I currently cover the Wirral. With over 7 years experience tutoring and more than over 30 successful tutees in that time, I have the knowledge and ability to ensure your child achieves highly. Whether there are knowledge gaps that need to be bridged, or greater depth developed within subject knowledge, I can assist.

I take a child centred approach, helping to remove misconceptions and raise children’s aspirations. Identifying the gaps in knowledge is key, and usually my first step before helping to fill these gaps. I then aim to develop the children’s depth within a topic or particular area (verbal reasoning).

Availability: Between 4-5 on weekdays.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I only teach KS2, largely centring around year 5 and 6, helping to prepare them for year 6, their entrance exams and SATs. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience within these areas and can assist with Maths, English, Comprehension and both verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
