Hello, thank you for viewing my profile. I am an experienced A level Psychology teacher with 11 years+ experience in delivering the AQA and Eduqas specification. I have also examined for both boards which allows me to deliver high quality, specific tutoring tailored towards the exam criteria. I am currently Head of department at an outstanding Sixth form.
If you are struggling with deconstructing questions, curriculum content, or you have simply missed lesson time, I can absolutely help get you back on track and not only that, but help you to exceed expectations. I am a challenging teacher who will push you to succeed by understanding your needs. I am a fully qualified Psychology teacher with a BSc/MEd/PGCE, I have a proven track record in achieving high value added results, this means that my students often achieve beyond their predicted grades.
I offer a personalised learning plan which suits your unique learning ability. We will set weekly goals and assess progression through various methods, such as engagement and exam performance. I regularly communicate with parents to keep you informed, my aim is to work collaboratively and purposefully towards the same goal.
In addition, I also teach Criminology, my students tend to require support with the write up of the coursework element or need additional support preparing for the exam. I only offer online lessons, this works really well and provides greater flexibility for the student. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss your requirements further.
Availability: I am available in the evenings and weekends as I teach Psychology and Criminology full time. I am able to tutor you at GCSE level/A level in Psychology and Level 3 Diploma in Criminology.

Experience: I have been teaching full time for 10 years and absolutely love helping students achieve their target grades for University and further employment. I have a BSc in Psychology and an MEd in Psychology of Education as well as my PGCE. I have achieved high value added results year on out, I am DBS cleared and can provide this upon request. I have greater flexibility to take on more students in the academic year 2023/24.

Nayyer is a thoughtful and committed tutor who has my son’s best interests at heart. She has been excellent in encouraging him and giving him the feedback he needs. She does more than her hour with him, providing exam questions and other information to keep him on track. I would certainly recommend Nayyer. Excellent tutor!

Amazing Tutor!! Nayyer tutored me this past year and helped me achieve a grade A in psychology! My lessons were always great, she has a fantastic subject knowledge and always made sure I understood the topics we were going through. Nayyer was always patient and understanding, made time for me whenever I needed lessons, and she made sure that I went into my exams with confidence. I cannot recommend her enough! When my daughter started having lessons with Nayyer 14 months ago she was predicted a E/D for her A level Psychology exam. Since having lessons with Nayyer she has come so far and is now getting B`s and A`s in her course work and exams. She is predicted a B for her A level exam, however Nayyer has given her the knowledge and confidence to strive for an A. All Nayyers lessons are adapted to my daughters needs and structured to concentrate on areas where she has gaps in her learning. Lessons challenge her knowledge and thinking and she has now developed a real interest in Psychology. Nayyer always provides excellent constructive feedback and has given my daughter lots of good exam techniques. She has really helped her to prepare for her exams, always encouraging, being supportive and reassuring her along the way. Nayyer also has excellent communication with myself, keeping me informed of progress. We can not thank Nayyer enough and we would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent Psychology tutor.
