I’m a qualified Business and Economics teacher with experience supporting GCSE and A Level students online.

My lessons are particularly useful for students who understand the content but need help turning that knowledge into stronger exam answers. I focus on clear explanations, essay structure, application, chains of analysis, evaluation and exam technique.

I also work with students who need more confidence or structure, starting by identifying exactly where marks are being lost rather than simply going back through the whole course.

Lessons are online 1:1 and tailored to the student’s exam board, current grade and target grade.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with experience teaching Business and Economics at secondary level, as well as several years of private tutoring experience. I have supported students across GCSE and A Level, including students who need help with content, exam technique, essay structure, application, analysis and evaluation.

I previously taught Business and Economics in a London secondary school and now work with students online through Joyful Tutors. I regularly support students with exam board specific preparation, past paper questions, timed essays, mark schemes and targeted feedback.

A key part of my teaching is identifying exactly where marks are being lost. For some students this is a knowledge gap, while for others it is how they structure an argument, apply context, develop chains of analysis, evaluate effectively or manage time under exam conditions. I use this to make lessons focused and purposeful from the start.

I have worked with students at different confidence and attainment levels, from those who need to rebuild foundations to high attaining students looking to refine their answers and push towards the top grades.
