Information about Nadia
I am an experienced teacher of Geography was over 17 years of practice. I currently teach GCSE and A level Geography to mixed ability students and have a track record of excellent results at both levels. Lesson observations throughout my teaching career have consistently demonstrated my success in the classroom with Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 observations. The most recent observations as part of the departmental review rating my teaching as outstanding and my marking as exemplary. I have had experience of ISI inspections in the autumn term of 2015. At this time, I was observed by the head inspector of the ISI team at Emanuel school (my current employer). The inspector was incredibly impressed with my lesson and deemed it the best lesson she had seen at Emanuel school. I also planned a number of lessons for colleagues during that inspection, which were used and given the rating of 1: Outstanding. Lesson observations throughout my teaching career have consistently demonstrated my success in the classroom with Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 observations. The most recent observations as part of the departmental review rating my teaching as outstanding and my marking as exemplary. I am an experienced tutor who currently tutors GCSE and A Level student. I have worked with a number of students with a range of abilities and tailor every lesson to the individual student. I ensure all lessons have a range of subject knowledge and exam technique included and have excellent relationships with all tutees. Results are very successful. The most recent results (August 2018) for A level Geography achieved more than 50% A and A* as well as a value added that was one of the highest in the school. In 2017, GCSE and A level were also above school average. Additionally, the NEA (Non-Examined Assessment) was incredibly successful.
