I am a third year Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Bristol, with a passion for Maths and Physics. I know from experience how difficult these subjects in particular can be at all levels, and definitely understand how useful some extra help can be!

I am a strong communicator, friendly, and have a genuine passion for teaching! I believe this will really help me to help you, and I aim to share my knowledge and experience with you so you can gain a fundamental understanding of anything you may be struggling with.


My tutorials

The key focus of all my sessions will be to ensure I am constantly up to date with what you are struggling with: you will dictate the content! The first session will begin with understanding some of the key topics you find difficult, ranking them, and then beginning to address these issues. I will then explain each topic slowly and clearly so that you gain an comprehensive understanding of it, rather than simply learning the method to answering a question. This is the key to my sessions: ensuring you understands what you are doing and why they are doing it!

Once the topic is understood, we will then practice it via examination style questions, to familiarize you with what you`re going to have to do on exam day and improve exam technique. The session will conclude with a review with you to ensure you understood everything that has been covered.

So, by ensuring you understand on a fundamental level what is being taught, and what is required of you in the exam by constant communication during the session, you should be able to build on your knowledge and understanding with each session, and be able to tackle any exam that`s thrown at you!

Availability: Available any day of the week, 10am-7pm

Experience: I`ve previously worked for an 11+ tuition company for a year, as well as providing private tuition to GCSE and A-level students. I have taught maths in all of these sessions, whilst also tutoring numerous students physics. The students I have taught privately have all gone on to achieve A`s or above in their GCSE and A-level examinations.

Through my own academic experience, achieving a 1st in the first two years of my engineering degree, I believe I am competent and capable enough to tutor maths and physics, and offer any advice and experience i have gained over the years.
