Bonjour tout le monde !

I am French and I have a vast experience in tutoring as I have been teaching for many years (I won’t tell you how many as it will show my age!), and it’s been a real pleasure watching the little ones as well as the bigger ones grow in confidence as their language skills improve. I have been providing private tuition across ages and levels, I have run clubs and taught in schools, clubs and companies. I have 2 children myself, and when I tried looking for a tutor to help my own children, I realised what a minefield it is and how hard it is to find the right tutor for my children. This is why I decided to set up shop at belingualfr and help others.

French Secondary/GCSE Belingualfr Classes

This is a weekly group session for KS3/KS4 students’ which costs between £20 and £25 per student. This French class follows the curriculum that helps prepare children to take their GCSE exams as it provides the students with a robust revision program. It includes conjugation (8 tenses are covered), grammar, topic vocabulary and practice to improve their skills across all 4 exams: speaking, writing, listening and reading.

French Primary Belingualfr Club

This is a weekly group tuition which costs £15 per child and per session. It follows the curriculum and covers all the topics that are tought in school which gives the pupils the advantage of being familiar with a topic when it is It has many benefits. Your child will have the opportunity to interact with other students and meet new people, which means they will be able to hear other peoples` opinions and listen to questions they may not have thought of themselves or that they may be too shy to ask initially. Early exposure to a second language has cognitive benefits that extend far beyond the simple knowledge of that language.

Online tuition

With no need to travel, increased flexibility and advances in technology, online tuition is now an increasingly common tuition choice. Online tuition is very similar to face-to-face tuition. Online tutoring allows you to have your tutorial from the comfort of your own surroundings. This means that you have access to all your notes and other study materials. Online tuition enables the same level of engagement as face-to-face tuition and within an environment that is familiar to you. I provide a discount for online tuition should you wish to use this option.

1 to 1

The most popular option is the private one to one lesson. One of the biggest advantages of private tuition is that lessons are customised to suit each student. Learners will benefit from the fact that a tutor can adjust the pace, focus and goals of a lesson depending on the needs and abilities of the student. Students confidence improves as they get help and test practice. Tutors and students are able to work more closely which enables teachers to spot potential problems and give them assistance as and when required.

Company

In a globalized world, where mobility is facilitated, learning a language is a wonderful benefit. Not only does it help when traveling, it is also a great advantage for studying in general and for career prospects abroad. Acquiring a second language enables us to develop various mental abilities at all ages. Learning a new language also makes you more conscious of the nuts and bolts of your own language. Terms such as grammar, conjugation, idioms become everyday phrases.

Je propose des cours particuliers, soutien scolaire, aide aux devoirs à domicile ou à distance. Pendant la première heure de cours, je prends connaissance de vos besoin ou de ce que l`élève a vu en classe, de ses copies ainsi que de ses besoins, puis nous nous mettons immédiatement au travail. A l`issue de ce premier cours, je peux ainsi proposer un programme et un volume horaire qui répondront aux objectifs que nous nous serons fixés.

Je propose des cours et des exercices sur mesure, adaptés à chaque élève, en vue d`une progression efficace, dans une ambiance encourageante et bienveillante.

Je prépare notamment les collégiens aux épreuves du GCSE, en les exerçant aux questions de compréhension et de grammaire, aux exercices de réécriture et de rédaction ainsi qu’à l’oral et à l’écoute de la langue.

Je prépare également les lycéens aux épreuves écrites et orales du A-Level, en les exerçant au commentaire et à la dissertation à partir du nouveau programme, en leur proposant une méthodologie claire au sein d`un enseignement du cursus anglais. Je leur fait également passer des oraux blancs (speaking mocks), sur les lectures analytiques préparées en classe durant l`année, afin de les exercer et de les préparer au mieux pour le jour J.

Pour une progression efficace, je précise qu`il faut compter un minimum d`1h30 de cours par semaine pour les collégiens et les lycéens.


Je m`occupe également d`élèves déscolarisés qui préparent leurs examens en candidat libre et suis en mesure de construire des séquences de cours.

J`ai enfin l`habitude de travailler avec des élèves dyslexiques et dyspraxiques, auprès desquels j`adapte mon rythme et ma pédagogie.

Je propose des sessions intensives de cours durant les vacances scolaires.
