Experience: I graduated from university in 2009 with an upper 2:1 degree in Film and Media Studies and was graded an outstanding teacher when concluding my teacher training at Blackpool Sixth Form College in 2010. Since this I have been the Head of Department and Subject Lead for Media Studies and have taught English both in England and overseas. I have taught, privately tutored and examined both English and Media at KS3, 4 and 5 for the past 10 years, and due to experience, I am highly skilled and confident in teaching all theoretical elements over a wide range of exam boards. At present I am working from home as a National Video Conferencing English Teacher and use Zoom and Skype to deliver my lessons to Year 7 to Year 11 students. I am friendly, enthusiastic and flexible and will work around your needs and the times which best suit you.
