Experienced academic, writer and tutor in Film Studies, Media Studies, History, and English language tuition. I can travel about two-three miles from Weybridge, but normally offer tuition at home. If further away. I can negotiate a rate based on a block of work. I am also happy to work with professionals/ graduates, as well as A level students.

Before my academic career, I worked as a journalist and in television.

I can proof read your dissertation/ essay/ coursework and check that it presents its arguments logically and coherently.

Availability: Mainly Fridays, although some slots available on Wednesday and Thursday - please enquire. Times are flexible during the day. (No longer Mondays, Tuesdays).

Experience: I teach at a University, and a HE college that has been awarded an `outstanding` grade from Ofsted. I have been awarded the status of a `grade 1` lecturer. Since I have a doctorate and a Distinction in my MA from University of London, I am thoroughly expert in all aspects of media, film, and historical theory and critical writing. I am a published author in academic journals and books.

I teach on BA and MA degrees, and teach all subject areas within A level Media Studies and 20th century history.
