Information about Anna

I have a passion for French and German and am a very capable linguist with highly developed speaking skills. I studied at Durham University, where I gained a First-class degree in French and German and was awarded the German Studies prize for the final-year student with the highest overall mark in German.

I have also recently completed my PGCE in French and German at Newcastle University and graduated with a `High` level of achievement. In addition to excellent subject knowledge therefore, I also have the ability to explain and simplify difficult grammatical concepts and particularly enjoy helping students to develop their speaking skills.

I have a very patient and friendly manner and can put people at their ease.

Availability: I am available Monday to Saturday, including evenings.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: During my Year Abroad, I gained teaching experience as an English language assistant at a grande école in Amiens.

In addition to this, during my PGCE year, I was responsible for delivering intensive 1:1/1:2 language sessions with GCSE and A-Level students.

Anna has just started tutoring my 9 year old daughter in French. She is very calm and reassuring and my daughter is really enjoying her fun lessons. Would recommend Anna to anyone!
