Hello! I am a fully qualified teacher and I hold a 1st Class BEd Hons degree in Primary Education. I have served in positions such as Head of English and Assistant Headteacher in leading UK schools.
I specialise in preparing students for eleven plus exams.
I am passionate about teaching and teaching has been my lifelong ambition.

Gemma is such a friendly, positive, and encouraging tutor and her tutoring for my child for the 11 plus entrance exam was invaluable. Gemma strikes the right balance between being professional and approachable. My child’s confidence grew with each session and Gemma showed my child how to approach questions by breaking down each step. This meant that my child was able to complete their entrance exam with confidence and knowledge. If we ever need a tutor in future, we will definitely use Gemma again.

Gemma has been brilliant with my son in preparing him for his ISEB pre tests. He has gained lots of confidence and Gemma has helped him enourmously we saw a reall improvement in his scores.

We are off to a good start and having a great time with Gemma, She explains concepts clearly and she is patient. Her teaching methods have been engaging and well structured. Her sessions are well rounded but also tailored to educational needs as required. I would definitely recommend her to others.
