Hello! My name is Megan and I`m exitied to teach anyone of any level who is eager to learn!

I`m an experienced and enthusiastic musician in the North East. I am well aquainted with playing multiple instruments, primarily focusing on Alto Saxophone and Violin.

I enjoy playing and teaching in various genres and encourage students to explore more than just one. It`s important that playing an instrument isn`t just about passing grades, but about anjoying your time playing and not letting practice feel like homework. You play because you love it! Therefore, alongside any grade and performance preperation you may wish to do (ABRSM / TRINITY), I encourage warmups of duets, new pieces, sight reading and improvisation to keep things fresh and engaging.

The student always chooses what they wish to play and/or perform, and I am very laid back with however you wish to conduct the lesson.

Tutoring is also available for students studying Art/ Textiles/ Fashion up to A-level. I am currently studying Fashion Design at Northumbrua University and will happily assist with any art based needs.

Tutoring available in Acting for LAMDA examination preperation, auditions and performamces. Having gained Level 3 Grade 8 in LAMDA Duologue and spending 10+ years performing in local theatre house performances, I can help you improve your confidence in acting and have some fun doing it!

Availability: I am available most weeknights and weekends. If you send me a message we can further discuss availability and times that will suit us both.
Available for in home lessons where I travel to you, or preferably in my home in Jesmond Newcastle.

Experience: Having experience in tutoring beginners in Piano, Violin and other instruments, along with assisting in ensemble leading roles, nothing is more important to me than my students having fun!

14 years playing Violin up to Grade 5 with TRINITY but ability greater than previously achieved grade level.
5 years Alto Saxophone up to Diploma.
Level 3 grade 8 Speech and Drama in Performance
