Information about Maria
With a background in performing arts, I am currently working and studying for my PGCE Degree (Master level) in English Language and Literature, working also on a side in a London state school, teaching English to both natives and non-native students.
I also have a wide and diverse teaching experience, some of my previous jobs including teaching adults in the ESL/ ESOL sector for one year; and teaching children drama in a bilingual private school in West London.
As much as I love both my teaching fields, I am now seeking the opportunity to continue teaching English as a both foreign language and British NC - KS3/4, on a wider scale, to both young children and adults.
I enjoy being creative and am keen to use this quality to create stimulating and unique lessons from scratch, to inspire every class I teach. Enthusiastic and motivated to succeed, I have a fierce passion for the English language and education, always holding myself to the highest standards.
My TEFL teaching skills and knowledge in the English language enrich me every day, knowing that I can help countless students to become better selves and be more confident on their own forces and abilities, through my patience, perseverance, dedication and hard work.
