Information about Ryan
I am a friendly, hard-working, and extremely passionate fully qualified teacher currently teaching A-Level Psychology at a well-known, successful Sixth Form College in Nottinghamshire. I have also previously taught Geography to an A-Level standard at an Ofsted Outstanding School in Derbyshire.
I am passionate about both my subjects and the success of my students, both in the classroom and as my tutees. I believe in a fully student-centred approach to teaching, with each lesson tailored to a students individual needs and learning style. I also believe heavily in the value of recall and flip learning and incorporate these into my tutoring wherever possible.
Above all, I believe in the importance of developing student confidence and understanding both in terms of subject content and exam technique when tutoring.

Prior to this I have successfully achieved a high grade in BSc Psychology from the University of Hull and high grades in A-Levels in both Psychology and Geography from Netherthorpe School in Derbyshire.
Before starting to teach I spent five years working as a performance driving instructor across the UK, giving me a plethora of experience in one on one, instructing situations and a strong understanding of how to extract the best results from tutees.
