With over 10 years of experience in education, I have supported learners from primary school through to A-Level, helping students develop their knowledge, confidence and independence across a wide range of subjects.

My experience spans English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Health & Social Care, ESOL and Music Theory, allowing me to work with learners with varied academic goals, abilities and learning needs. I have also worked as a qualified lecturer, alongside my extensive experience as a private tutor, giving me a strong understanding of both academic progression and effective teaching practice.

I believe that successful learning starts with understanding the individual learner. I tailor every session around each student’s strengths, areas for development, learning style and goals. I have experience supporting learners with SEN and additional learning needs, adapting my teaching methods and resources to ensure that every student can engage, progress and feel successful.

My approach is patient, encouraging and results-focused. I break complex topics down into clear, manageable steps, use engaging and practical teaching methods, and regularly monitor progress to ensure that our sessions are making a genuine difference.

Most importantly, I want students to leave each session feeling that they have learned something, achieved something and are one step closer to their goals.
