English and Drama tutor looking to work with Higher/ National 5 students in central Scotland.

Availability: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Experience: An enthusiastic and understanding English and Drama tutor with First Class BA (Hons) degree in English and Acting from Edinburgh Napier University.

Over 2 years experience of one to one tutoring in English and Drama with both primary and secondary GCSE students in London.

Over 7 years experience working with young people as a drama tutor for various youth theatre`s including Scottish Youth Theatre, Cumbernauld Theatre and Strange Town. I have also been a guest lecturer/ director at Fife College for HND Drama and Performance.

I create a friendly and trusting environment to help build students confidence within the subject and when completing tasks. I am very patient and will always provide the time needed for a student to understand the particular question or technique. I have prepared many pupils for examinations in both Scotland and England. I can provide advice and guidance to learners on issues related to their education as I have taught classes from a wide variety of backgrounds.
