Isha

I am an experienced clarinet player with a passion for performing, and an enthusiastic and committed teacher. I trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and have a wide knowledge of fundamentals: music theory, history, harmony and counterpoint, as well as all aspects of clarinet performance from the core classical repertoire to contemporary works and new commissions. I have performed across London and beyond with many orchestras, including the London Mozart Players, London Mahler Orchestra and European un ion Youth Wind Orchestra. I am also passionate about solo performance and made my solo debut at the Barbican Centre Sound Unbound festival in 2019.

Experience: I have extensive experience teaching students of all ages and abilities, both privately and through agencies and teaching organisations. I have been a music tutor with Wandsworth Music Service for six years, where I have worked with students from beginners all the way to ABRSM grade 8 and beyond, and I am also experienced with leading ensembles. I am also trained in Child Safeguarding and instrument maintenance and repair as part of my teaching work.
