Information about Lee
Oxford University DPhil Candidate with over 10 years of teaching experience.
I have always been very capable in all areas of study throughout my education and have relished the opportunity to help others understand concepts within them.
As a very sociable person, I get on well with people of all ages and am constantly astounded at how quickly young people`s minds can absorb and understand new information. I pride myself on the rapport I build with my students and excel in translating information in a very concise and understandable way to people of all intellectual abilities.
I am currently pursuing a DPhil in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at Oxford University, following my attainment of a First Class MSci degree in Natural Sciences from University College London.
My interests outside of science and teaching include sport, mainly golf and football, films and cooking.
Availability: I am available to tutor most days of the week and I`m very flexible with my availability.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have previously tutored a number of students, individually as well as in large groups, helping them all the achieve or exceed their target grades. The subjects I have covered include all sciences and maths subjects at both GCSE and A level as well as coaching students for the 11+ entrance exam. I develop a fantastic rapport with these students and have played an active role in their transition into secondary school, college or university.
I have also taken part in leading many student-run study groups in my college and senior school.

Lee was an excellent tutor for my daughters A level chemistry, and I would highly recommend him. He tutored my daughter for around 3 months leading up to her A level this year and she achieved a grade improvement in her result. Lee was always on time and gave invaluable 1-2-1 support - the greatest change we saw was the confidence
