Availability: Available after 5pm weekdays, and all day on weekends.

Experience: During my final year at university, I volunteered in my local secondary school for a few months . During my time there, I shadowed teachers during their lessons while also supporting SEN students from all different backgrounds. I worked closely with students who had literacy difficulties, language difficulties and also students with conditions like dyslexia and ADHD. What I learnt from my experiences was that to fulfil these kids’ true potential, I had to be very dedicated in my teaching and also, I had to be very patient with them. I learnt to praise and reward them when they made good progress, but also to encourage them if they made mistakes.
