I am a native Polish speaker with over 6 years of steady tutoring experience. Passionate about languages, society and human communication. I lived and studied in the UK and the Netherlands, graduating from Southampton and Amsterdam. In 2018 I moved back to Poland and now I share my time between language tutoring, translating and interpreting. I am talkative, analytical and creative. Happy to deliver a course that works for you!

Experience: I have conducted both long term language courses as well as short ones for weddings and holidays. I`ve taught adults, university students and GCSE-level pupils. My main focus is on individual tutoring but I also have classroom experience and I`m happy to engage with groups.

Methods I`ve used span from conventional book-style approach, flexible course formed in co-operation with a student (choice of topics, methods, material, focus) to the theme-specific conversation.

My priority is to make personalised lessons, focus them around the interests, preferences and needs of each student. I use a variety of materials (books, newspapers, songs, films, photographs, games, additional grammatical and vocabulary exercises). I adjust the pace and method of introducing new information and skills to fit individual needs.

Language is a practical skill and I aim to give you the ability to communicate with your Polish friends, partners and co-workers. I also see language as a gateway to culture and I`m happy to complement lessons with insight to interesting and unique parts of Polish life.
