I have just completed studies for my degree in medicine at Imperial College and Cambridge, and am living at home near Bolton until starting work as a doctor.

My tutoring sessions differ based on the goal of the tutee. If the aim is to prepare before a formal exam then I find a question based approach works best, tackling areas which prove tricky while also working on exam technique. If however there is no exam immediately looming I prefer lessons which more resemble a university supervision (tutorial), which allows for a much greater understanding to develop and makes the discussions more interesting. Tutees often have a mix of both intentions, so a balanced session is usually what results, and is what works well.

Availability: Weekday evenings, and weekends. In the area 30th April to 20th May.

Experience: I have been tutoring GCSE and A-level science and maths for six years, and have been active with three of London`s top tutoring agencies.
