I have taught full time in the Primary age range for all of my 23 year teaching career. I am currently teaching in Year 3 but have had many years teaching in all age ranges 7-11. I have spent the majority of my teaching career in Year 6 so I have a lot of experience in preparing children for SATs. I also have extensive experience in preparing children for their 11 plus exams. To ensure success I assess their individual needs and modify the lessons to work on their specific areas of need whether that be maths, verbal reasoning, reading or non verbal reasoning. I pride myself on making learning interesting, interactive and child-centred. I always take into account a child`s preferred learning style and modify my teaching approach accordingly.

Availability: As I teach full-time I am limited to evenings and weekends although I am felxible in the school holidays.

Experience: I`m a full- time primary school teacher and have worked in Key stage two for the duration of my 23 years of teaching. I have a lot of experience and expertise in helping children to achieve to the best of their potential when preparing for KS2 SATs. I have had a lot of success in getting children up to the `expected` or `greater depth` standards in SPAG, Maths, Reading and Writing.
I have also prepared many children for the eleven plus exam.
