Information about Brent
Hello!
My name is Brent and I have been teaching KS3 and A Level English for 15 years. All of my online students passed their exams last year with between 1 or 2 grades higher than projected. I teach AQA and EDUCAS Language and Literature and I specialise in teaching AQA poetry and Shakespeare.
I am adept at working with pupils who are anxious or struggling, empathetically addressing their concerns and tailoring my teaching methods to suit their individual needs.
If you need a sympathetic and friendly teacher to help you understand how the exam is structured, as well as clarify and simplifying what you need to do to pass, I am the teacher for you!
Availability: I teach GCSE resits in F.E and also extensively online for a registered charity and my diary is usually pretty full! However, I do have a few limited spaces left for students who need helpful and targeted support and guidance.

Experience: I have taught over 1000 students in my career to pass GCSE English Language and my specialism is helping students who are struggling to achieve a pass mark or with to improve their grades. Over the past 12 years I have been teaching GCSE retakes outstanding results. I also teach small groups of KS3 students online for a well-know and highly respected charity.

If you are looking for an engaging English tutor, who can make the subject fun and more importantly, really accessible, Brent is perfect. My son has found English rather boring and challenging however Brent has really bought English to life. My son enjoys his lessons with Brent, and already feels more confident. I have no doubt that my son will increase his grades for both language and literature. My son actually looks forward to his sessions with Brent, and I can see his confidence grow. Thank you Brent

Brent is an outstanding teacher! My son was incredibly blessed to have Brent become his English teacher and has come on leaps and bounds at a time when he desperately needed support and guidance for his GCSEs in a few weeks.
