I am a retired Grammar School Maths Teacher with over 1000 hours tutoring GCSE, iGCSE, A-level, 11+ & Secondary Entrance and Scholarship.
I Graduated from Cambridge University with a M.A. and a M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering. I then had a successful career as an engineer and manager in the Oil and Gas Industry for 33 years. On leaving the industry I trained as a Maths teacher to obtain my QTS.
I have taught Maths at a Boys Grammar and a Girls Grammar at all levels including sixth form.
I find the most enjoyable part of tutoring is watching the progress pupils can make and their increase in motivation & self confidence once they are given one to one attention and are able to resolve those difficult questions they struggle with at school. With the onset of COVID19 I am now also doing online tutoring and in person from April 12 inline with Government Guidelines

Availability: I am available during the day, after school and holidays.
