Ms.Yan is a friendly, approachable and skilled teacher who really understands the learning process and has helped me to improve my knowledge of Chinese in a very short time. Would definitely recommend!

Ms Yan is the best Mandarin teacher I`ve ever had! She was so caring and hard-working when it came to teaching me my Mandarin Pre-U, she worked tirelessly to produce her own teaching plan for me. She structured every lesson according to my needs and what the syllabus required, she was so professional in that manner.
Not only does she teach the language in such depth and clarity, but she also makes sure you understand it thoroughly enough so that you can be confident in yourself when speaking, reading and writing it. She provided me with such great resources for studying and homework so even after the lesson, I was still learning more. She was always available outside of lessons to answer any questions I had as well, which was extremely kind of her.
As a person, Ms Yan is the most genuine and kind teacher I`ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She seems to genuinely love teaching and making sure her students thrive. Thanks to her, I received an A Star/D2 in my Mandarin Pre-U. I don`t think I could`ve achieved it without her tireless help and efforts.
I highly suggest Ms Yan to anyone who is curious about Chinese, her kindness and professionalism will not only help you learn the language but help you to immerse yourself in it completely.
