Information about Rebecca
I am a post-doctoral researcher (PhD qualified) at the University of Manchester. My PhD was in health psychology and medicine. I have a undergraduate degree in Psychology (1st class) and a Masters in Health Psychology (Distinction). I also have A-levels in German, Philosophy and Ethics and Psychology. All of my GCSE`s are grade A-B. I am originally from Ormskirk, Lancashire and have studied in the North West for all of my educational achievements. I am currently based in Manchester so I am able to tutor here, surrounding areas and closer to home in Ormskirk.
Availability: I am available most weeknights (if given a weeks notice, I can be free any night). Also available some weekends, with prior warning to when you would like me to help.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: I am well placed to tutor psychology from GCSE to Masters level. I have experience of teaching undergraduate psychology at the University of Manchester where I have a graduate teaching assistant post. I have worked in many mentoring environments. I was a volunteer for Samaritans for three years and as part of this role, I visited prisons in the North West acting as a mentor. I have also worked as an assistant psychologist facilitating self-improvement groups. Throughout all of my roles I have worked very closely with a variety of ages and backgrounds and I enjoy being able to teach new things about subjects that I am passionate about myself. I also have a lot of clinical experience and have recently started to become more involved in the training of health professionals.
