Hello! I am an experienced psychology lecturer with a background in both primary and secondary teaching. I take a holistic approach to supporting students by helping to build academic self-esteem and confidence for a longer lasting benefit to academic studies. I offer both synchronous sessions (1:1 online) and asynchronous sessions (providing feedback on assignments). I draw upon my extensive pedagogic knowledge of learning as well as my subject knowledge of psychology to provide a fun, engaging and positive learning experience.

Experience: I have a PhD in Psychology and am currently a Teaching Fellow within a UK university. I also run an educational psychology consultancy business. Prior to this, I completed my PGCE and worked as a teacher. I have a wealth of experience teaching Psychology theory, research methods and statistics to an advanced level. I am also proficient in R, NVivo and SPSS statistical software. I am experienced in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. I am also a qualified EFL teacher and am therefore skilled at working with those with EAL. Further, I can provide support in exam preparation and essay/assignment planning.
