I am a calm, reliable and qualified Maths teacher living in the Surbiton area. I am enthusiastic and knowledgeable and am known to have a good rapport with my students.

Experience: I worked in the Independent school sector for 16 years and have taught in an American International school as well as in a highly competitive UK Independent school. My experience has been in teaching Mathematics to children of all ages, primarily from year 4 up to A-level (and the MYP and IB programmes in the International school).

Over the last 9 years, I have specialised in teaching Key stage 3 and 4 Maths, focusing on IGCSE and the new GCSE curriculum. I have also taught A-level Mechanics, Core Maths 1 and 2, and OCR Additional Maths.

At my previous school, I also enjoyed teaching Key stage 3 Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Citizenship, however, my true passion lies in teaching Mathematics.

My extensive subject knowledge has allowed me to work with students of all abilities to achieve a track record of excellent exam results.

I enjoy working WITH pupils to ensure that they build up their confidence in the subject and that they strive to develop the many skills required to attain top grades. I strongly believe that a pupil`s confidence in any subject is key to success.
