I am passionate about science and love to share my enthusiasm with my students because when they enjoy something they improve.
Within sessions I will help clarify confusing parts from school lessons, identify misconceptions and using my wide variety of teaching techniques, exam style questions and presentations will assist in students reaching their maximum potential.

Hugh has been my daughter`s tutor for the past few months teaching A`level Physics. In her words she has described him as supportive, checks her understanding all the time, goes at her pace, a strong listener and communicator and has made the lessons enjoyable. Hugh has been great for my son, who is taking Physics A level. My son was struggling with a few concepts and is hoping for an A or A* so really needs to be confident in everything! Oscar has found the sessions helpful & enjoyable - even on the first session he was laughing and that was a great sign. Hugh provides clear notes after the session so that Oscar can refer back to them and always makes sure they finish what they are on, even if that means overrunning a bit. Very worthwhile.
