I am currently a university student and am passionate about helping people especially with maths since it is a subject I`ve always loved! I know maths can be scary and confusing at times, so I would love to help students understand the subject more and give them the confidence they need to get past any difficulties they are facing with the subject.

I have achieved an A* in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics A-level. I am also a former Computer Science student from the University of Cambridge, for which the entrance exam and interview when applying was all very mathematical. I am happy to help with any level of maths up till A-level Mathematics and maybe Further Mathematics and can also try help a bit with university entrance exams/interviews.

Experience: I have been tutoring students for GCSE and A-level Maths for over a year.
In school I was a maths mentor for students in younger years who were struggling with GCSE Maths. I helped them by going through topics and questions they were stuck on, making sure they were involved and were understanding what we were doing, and giving them new questions to have a look at for the next session.
I also have a younger sibling who I have always helped with maths, more recently with her A-level Maths and Further Maths, and some university entrance exam and interview preparation.

Last year I volunteered at Citywise, a mentoring charity for young people, where I was a mentor for primary school children. This involved using skills such as patience, empathy, listening, and communication.
I have taught tennis to a class of children as part of a Sports Leadership award and have volunteered at The Northern Tennis club to help people learn and practice tennis.

I believe the combination of my experience, skills, and passion for maths will make me an enthusiastic and understanding tutor.
