Information about Richard
I gained my PhD in 2002 in Biochemistry. Until the end of 2012, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Imperial College, London, where I studied proteins involved in pain signalling. Following the birth of my first son, I decided to move to Lincolnshire and become a stay-at-home parent.
I feel my higher level of knowledge, gained from my career as a biochemistry / protein chemist researcher, brings a more though learning experience for my students compared to lessons they receive at school.
