Hi, my name is Edwin. I am a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of Central Lancashire, with a Second Class, Division I degree in Clinical psychology. At A level, I studied Maths, Chinese, Art, Biology and Chemistry. As a tutor, I have helped people from all backgrounds wishing to study medicine in the UK, as well as international English test - IELTS.
My strengths include:
1. Medical school interview techniques – MMI
2. IELTS test for international students
3. Psychology.
Having taken the IELTS, A-level, UKCAT, University degree level exams, as well as first year medical school exams over the past 7 years. I have gradually become aware of the requirements from examiners and how to think critically. I also fully understand that many topics can seem daunting when first approaching them.
As a tutor, I will first ask the student what areas of a topic they want help with, so that an initial shared target can be set. I would also provide out of session work that will be aimed at either advancing the student’s understanding of a topic or in aiding myself to gauge the student’s ability at an upcoming topic.
I am a very easy to communicate with and I will be trying my very best to respond to your enquiry as fast as I can. I am also very patient and willing to adjust my teaching to best suit each individual. I look forward to to offering my support.
