I possess strong and varied experience in teaching primary years, key stage 1 and 2. I have the capacity to help develop and ensure that my students have better structure for their learning and creativity.
I am passionate about teaching and creating a collaborative learning environment in which I can gain my students trust.
My aim is to make my students feel comfortable and confident while they work with me. I am also open to suggestions in how the students feel they will learn best.
This would mean that I would be willing to adjust techniques and approaches to meet the learning styles of the student. My ultimate goal is to help students become independent learners.
I like to go the extra mile for my students by providing tailored work sheets and online learning guides to support my students` goals.

Availability: My preferred teaching hours during the summer break are:
Mornings 9 am to 1230 pm Monday through Thursday

From August 15th, Monday to Friday:
Mornings 9 am to 11 am
Afternoons 230 pm to 530 pm

From start of school year (Sept) Monday to Friday
After school hours

Experience: I have been teaching for over ten years. I have been a teacher and curriculum development coordinator for the English Language and Literature programme for key stages 1 and 2. As a private tutor, I have worked one-on-one with grade 3, 4 and 5 students in subjects including English, Reading, Science, and Urdu. I have integrated reading and writing to offer new perspective and respect for students’ own life stories to develop better comprehension, reading and writing skills. Monitored, assessed, and re-mediated student performance. I have also developed and implemented comprehensive lesson plans that accommodated specific level of learners while offering support to make certain each student was able to grasp materials. During this time, I have identified, selected, and modified resources to meet students’ diverse needs and integrated worksheets to vary lessons and consolidate concepts.
