I have just graduated from Durham University with a 2:1 having studied Politics with modules in Spanish, Business and a dissertation in English.
I have completed A-Levels in English Literature, Economics, History and Politics at Tiffin Girls School in West London. I am able to tutor any day of the week including weekends, in person and online.
I am able to tutor all subjects at KS1, KS2, KS3 and GCSE and tutor Politics, Economics, History and English Literature at A level. I also offer preparation for the 11+ entry exams and have successfully helped students gain entry into top independent and grammar schools across London. I can also help students with applications to university and personal statement writing.
I have a lot of experience in tutoring students of all ages and I have helped them pass exams as well as generally encourage passion for the subject. Through encouraging creativity and individual thinking every session is individual and targeted to the needs of the students.
Availability: Sessions can take place at my home, the student`s home or on Skype/FaceTime any day of the week including weekends.

I felt buying Yasmins contact was a waste of money. Although she had confirmed she would come a specific day of the week, after buying the details she said she couldn’t make it. We finally had to agree on a different day to which she came totally unprepared asking us to provide materials she could use for her class. She is very serious and no doubt very smart but my 9 year old son needs a teacher that makes a class fun and unfortunately she was not the case.

Hi Martha, I’m sorry to hear that your son did not enjoy the lesson. The way I plan my tutoring sessions is to assess the ability of the student on the first lesson which entails confirming his knowledge of what he is learning at school and at home. This is why the first lesson focuses on looking at the material they already have instead of me introducing and teaching new concepts, hence I do not prepare a teaching lesson for the first session. I hope this clarifies your doubts in regards to my teaching methods and as seen from other feedback received, teaching and age appropriate activities are something I strongly integrate within my tutoring sessions.
