I am a semi-retired journalist and linguist with many years of experience in teaching and coaching in Arabic and French a passion for helping students of all ages and experience reach their best in these two wonderful languages.
I have taught spoken and written Arabic at levels from complete beginner to post graduate diploma in translation.
I have coached English learners of French in grammar and pronunciation
I worked as an Arabic-speaking journalist and producer in the pan-Arab press for 20 years dealing with regional and international politics and current affairs.
I also spent a year as a volunteer English teacher in a secondary school in Sudan.

Availability: I am available both during the week and at weekends, with prior arrangement. At the moment all lessons are on zoom, but once restrictions are lifted I am prepared to travel to the student`s home or hold lessons in my own home.
I can offer ad-hoc lessons, top up practice or a series of more intense tuition as required.
