I`m Miss and I`m currently in my 5th year of teaching. At KS4 I primarily teach Biology at GCSE, however I have classes where I teach sequentially all three specialisms and would be happy to tutor all three sciences at GCSE level.
At KS3 I teach all three sciences following the national curriculum.
I`m an examiner for AQA and Cambridge IGCSE and mark the Triple higher tiered papers for both exam boards (known as theory extended on IGCSE).
I am highly skilled at breaking down content, finding where there may be gaps in knowledge or misconceptions, so that pupils can build on knowledge knowing they have the foundation to succeed.
I have a full understanding of the National Curriculum and AQA specification at KS4. Furthermore, I also teach pupils who complete the Entry Level qualification in Biology and also have a full understanding of ELC AQA specification.

Availability: Still two spaces for Sept 2025 onwards.
Times would be from 4.30pm - 7pm, Tues - Fri.

Experience: I started off training along side the University of Cumbria, gaining a wealth of up-to-date pedagogy, whilst the majority of my time was based in two well respected school`s in Warrington, learning my trade from excellent mentors. Since completing my PGCE with QTS, I have worked in two school`s the first being in Manchester and the second back in Warrington, where I have now been for over 3 years.

I have taught classes ranging from Y7 - Y11, teaching all three specialisms. I also teach GCSE Separate Science Biology (sometimes known as `triple`) where pupils are taught the widest depth of the AQA specification. I also teach pupils who truly struggle in engaging with science, who I encourage and support continuously, having my own bank of supportive techniques.

Along side being a science teacher I am also a form tutor and this is a role a highly value. I deliver PSHE and reading to my form each week, I ensure I am a member of staff which pupils feel they can come to if they ever have a problem.

I have gained a wealth of examiner knowledge by undertaking marking for AQA and IGCSE over the past couple of years, I mark the triple biology paper for both.
