I am a Qualified Maths teacher committed to enhancing student`s understanding through problem solving and activities geared towards critical thinking. My aim is to create students that have independent thinking skills and a resilience towards mathematical problems that will serve them well throughout school and in later life. I tailor my teaching based on the individual student, ensuring the greatest level of progress. I will personalise each session using prior assessments and make sure each hour is focuses on the relevant topics to help you achieve great results. I am a trained Primary teacher and have been teaching maths up to GCSE level for the past 4 years, so can help students from upper KS2 up to those preparing for their GCSE exams. I have been tutoring for the past 4 years, teaching students with a range of abilities, from those passing their GCSEs to others gaining a grade 9. I believe that through my experience of teaching maths through all age groups, combined with a passion for innovative teaching methods and approaches to the mathematics curriculum will lead to a positive experience for any students that choose me as their tutor.
