Currently a 1st Year Medical student at the University of Exeter. Having spent two years working in healthcare and recently graduating school with an IB Diploma [for which I received 44 points - only achieved by approximately the top 1.1% of students across the globe], I can offer a relatively fresh insight into studying and preparing for exams. I enjoy working with children and am willing to tutor students for secondary school entrance exams as well as GCSE/IGCSE preparation [Maths, Additional Maths, English, Chemistry, Biology and Physics]. As part of the IB, I did Higher Level Mathematics [Analysis], which is known for its rigour as a Level 3 qualification. Given time and dedication, I truly believe that any child can meet their potential with an appropriate method of tutoring.

Experience: Having worked at the tutoring company KUMON for over a year [teaching Mathematics and English], I learned to translate my knowledge into skills that I could use to teach children with varying levels of ability. I have over a year of experience tutoring across 200+ hours of lesson time.

I received straight 9s across all of my IGCSEs, and 44 points in the IB. The relatively recent experience of sitting the exams [and of higher level education] gives me a fresher insight into exam technique and equips me to deal with the challenges/difficulties many students may face given the lack of exam practice or face-to-face teaching presented by the COVID epidemic.
