Sophie

I have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London (2020), where I also completed my undergraduate (2015, MEng) and Masters of Research (2016, MRes). I am currently a research fellow at Imperial College London (awarded fellowship).
I come from Italy, but have English parents therefore I speak fluent English and Italian. Other than teaching Italian, I teach maths up to GCSE-levels as it is one of my primary subject at University and I enjoy getting my students to love maths.

Experience: I`ve been teaching small children, teenagers and adults for the past 10 years. I particulary enjoy teaching and have obtained great results with my students, in entry exams and gcses as well. I adapt to different teaching approches. I usually start with the basics to get to know the main problems of the student. I also combine the hard exercises with fun activities to try and get the student actually intrested in the subject. I am very calm and patient.
